Thailand has further eased its Covid-19 restrictions for all travellers entering Thailand (by air) from 1 July 2022 onwards. Here are some of the updates:
Thailand Pass is no longer required
US$10,000 Health Insurance requirement is also lifted
All are welcomed with proof of either:
A certificate of vaccination or
A pre-arrival negative RT-PCR or
Professional ATK test result
Pre-arrival Requirements
Vaccinated travellers:
A valid passport
A certificate of COVID-19 vaccination
18 years old and above: fully vaccinated for Covid-19 with an approved vaccine at least 14 days before travelling to Thailand.
5 - 17 years old (unaccompanied travellers): to be vaccinated with at least 1 dose of an approved vaccine at least 14 days before travelling to Thailand.
5 - 17 years old (travelling with parents): exempted from this requirement.
Unvaccinated / not fully vaccinated travellers:
A valid passport
On Arrival Requirements
Step 1:
All travellers: Entry screening including body temperature check, present required documents for checking.
Step 2:
Vaccinated travellers: entry allowed and free to go anywhere in the kingdom
Unvaccinated travellers (tested negative from an RT-PCR test/ professional ATK within 72 hours): entry allowed and free to go anywhere in the kingdom
Unvaccinated travellers (tested positive): required to comply with he public health instructions and guidelines. All expenses incurred will be the responsibility of the travellers.
During the Stay
While in Thailand, all travellers are advised to strictly follow the health and safety standards. Those experiencing COVID-like symptoms should get tested. If testing positive, they must get the appropriate medical treatment.
